Private tools privacy notice

Effective October 12, 2026

This notice covers api-jobs, a private automation tool that Rashid Mehmood, the owner of this website, built for his own use. It is not offered to the public, and the only Google account that uses it is the owner's own.

With the owner's permission, given through Google's sign-in screen, the tool uses the Gmail API to send email notifications to the owner's own address. If the owner later grants further permissions, the tool may read, label and archive messages in the owner's mailbox and save draft replies for the owner to review. It never sends email to anyone other than the owner unless the owner sends it himself.

Information is used only to provide the tool's features to the owner: sorting and labeling mail, flagging items that need attention, and drafting notes for the owner. To do this, the text of selected messages may be processed by Anthropic's Claude API on the owner's behalf. Information is not sold, not used for advertising, and not used to train AI models by this tool.

Sign-in tokens and working data are stored on the owner's own computer. Information is not shared with anyone else, except the service providers needed to run the tool (Google, for Gmail access, and Anthropic, for processing), and except where required by law.

The tool's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

The owner can remove the tool's access at any time from the Google Account security settings (Third-party apps & services) and can delete the locally stored data from his computer.

This notice is about the private tool only. Visitors to Florida Tree Notes do not use the tool, and it does not touch visitors' Google accounts.
